why the sky is blue?

John Tyndall(1820-1893) was irish scientist who investigated why the sky was blue. he studied how light beam passed through the air and how they were affected by particles of dust that were present. he knew that sunlight was made from all colours we see in the rainbow. he believed that daytime sky was blue because dust particles in the air scattered the blue colour in the light from the suns..
